Training

We offer a variety of training classes, all of which follow the same ethos. Our methods involve reward based training with the puppies and as they become adolescents we introduce gentle guidance.
Fun is a key aspect of training. So if you enjoy it, so will your dog.
Training equipment can be purchased from our shop.

PUPPY CLASSES
One of the most important things you can do for your puppy is to enrol them onto a puppy socialisation course. Socialising your puppy immediately is the most beneficial aspect of training and for the owners, these classes give support, advice and guidance as the puppy develops. All of our classes relate to real life situations, so wherever possible we incorporate outside training into the programme.
To enrol in these classes your puppy will need to have completed their vaccination programme. You will need to bring small treats with you for each session and a favourite toy. Puppies must be kept on a lead unless requested to remove them during the training session.

GUN DOG TRAINING
The sessions take part in all weathers and will cover:-
Control work (Sit, wait, recall, heal work – on and off lead)
Retrieving skills
Hunting
Distance control
Whistle Training

FUN AGILITY
Fun agility is suitable for all dogs and all owners. Puppies will have to follow a slightly different programme until they are fully developed. The agility equipment is great fun to use, promotes control and obedience whilst burning off plenty of energy.
The agility course is outside so we are obviously reliant on the weather which does restrict these classes more to the summer months.

ONE TO ONE
We offer one to one training sessions for clients that are unable to attend or prefer not to train in a group situation. These sessions are tailor made to suit you, your family and your dog. They can be carried out in your home environment or an alternative location to suit you.
